Battle (29 June), Haro (La Rioja) - People dressed in white clothes
squirt each other with wine from leather drinking bottles in the capital
of the Rioja Alta wine region.
Danza de los Zancos (22 July and the last Saturday of September), Anguiano (La Rioja) - Dancers on stilts, wearing ornate waistcoats and yellow skirts, hurtle down the stepped alley from the church to the main square.
