Christine Lecrivain was born in Normandy (France) in 1964. She
started to paint the countryside as a hobby and by the beginning of the
1990's she went to the New York art school to improve her oil painting
and pastel technique. After finishing the NY art school she started focussing
her research more on flowers and still life. For this she uses a large
range of bright colours.
In 1999, she settles in the "Costa del Sol". She was inspired by the traditional Spanish life style and some of her work shows her understanding and feelings about life. By now she started painting more and more, and her style has become abstract and she uses the knife technique.
