Alcudia by Fonteriz

With more than 30 kms coast line Alcudia is situated North-East of Mallorca. It is formed by the peninsula of Cap del Pinar, which separates the bays of Alcudia and Pollença and by the interior area which borders with Pollença to the North and with La Pobla and Muro to the South.

In general, the climate of Alcudia does not differ from the rest of Mallorca, although it does have its own characteristics in relation to its situation and position. It has the temperate, subtropical climate of the Mediterranean, is protected from the winds and favoured by the sea, with a mild winter and a dry summer. Alcudia is an ideal place for your holiday at any time of the year.

Alcudia is one of the island's centres which is most appreciated by visitors. Added to the beauty of the country surroundings and the artistic treasure of its monuments, there is an important hotel industry with constantly improving facilities.

The coast line along the two bays is ideal for sailing schools, windsurfing and also diving, water skiing and fishing. There are numerous walking and riding trails and the Council has produced a brochure with full information of the programmes on offer,
